Vat ​Xieng Ngeun

Whilst the sim of Vat Xieng Ngeun is relatively modern (Renovated c.2012 ?) the monastery grounds are dominated by an impressive large two storey kuti building of French Colonial design, believed to date from c.1930's (The abbot said "100 years old"). It is one of only three two storey kuti like this in Luang Prabang, the others being at Vat Khilli and Vat Phanom.
