Vat Xieng Leck

​The viharn at Vat Xieng Leck was built by Phya Hom Sombat in 1896. The original sim was a single hall with porch, the side galleries being added at a later date. The large chedi behind the sim was built by King Ong Nok in the mid-eighteenth century but was in ruins by the early twentieth century. It was substantially restored in 2013 [Treasures of Luang Prabang]
