Vat Si Boun Heuang Sirimaram

"The Temple of Glorious Merit" is a small temple in the centre of Luang Prabang peninsular dating to 1758. It was built by Phaya Kang Mungkhun who also founded Vat Siri Moung Khoun and was the son of Ta Tiao Hang who had founded Vat Sene. The interior is richly decorated with gold stencils on a red background.
