Vat Pa Fang

Monastery of the Sappanwood Forest" founded in 1799 by Sene Mu Xa. Since the 1940's Vat Pa Fang has been merged with Vat Pa Khe as Vat Siphoutthabat. Within the monastery grounds is a large two storey building that was used before 1975 as a school for teaching monks Pali, Sanskrit and Khom languages. It is now a Buddhist meditation centre.
