Vat Khok Manh Sayamoungkhun

A very impressive village monastery near Kuangsi Falls. This monastery dates to the eighteenth or nineteenth century. The current sim dates to 1909 with renovations in 1947, 1973, 1992 [Rampon, 2003]. The style of the mural paintings suggest that they are quite old although I do not know the date. Some old wooden kuti buildings stand in the grounds.
