Vat Ho Xieng
ວັດຫໍຊ່ຽງ ວໍຣະວິຫາຣ

"The Lottery Pavilion" is named after a ceremony held in 1548 by King Setthathirat to select the location of this monastery. However the current monastery is believed to have been founded in 1706 by Khouane Sene Musa with a major reconstruction taking place in 1824. The sim was destroyed by a storm in 1900 and subsequently rebuilt. The outer verandas were added in 1952. [www.orientalarchitecture.com]
